Here we go... pictures of some of the mounts available in Starfall. This is the ursine mount. Most common among the races that dwell in the green lands (Humans and Elan), the Ursine Mount is more oriented toward combat ability than speed. This is the Marsupial Mount. Another combat-oriented mount from the Green Lands, this one is less physically powerful than the Ursine Mount (having both one less Hit Die and a lower Strength score) but possessing a powerful terrifying scream ability. Here's the Equine Mount. A creature closely related genetically to Earth's giraffes, it is exceptionally fast. It also has a prehensile tongue long enough to touch its own ear. This is the fastest of the Green Land mounts. Here's the Desert Bird mount. The mount with the fastest base movement speed, the Desert Bird performs best with a light rider who travels with very few possessions, since it has the smallest carrying capacity of any of the mounts. However, a mounted Harrier or lightly-armed Weapon Master riding one of these can charge 140 feet in a single round.

Other mounts:
Desert Lizard: A bipedal reptillian mount, it's the Waste's combat mount. Not having the raw strength of the Ursine or Marsupial, it can attack multiple times per round with its Multiattack feat.
Septapod Mount: A native form of insect life grown to enormous sizes by the Dromites, the Septapod Mount has incredible carrying ability for its Strength score (the greatest of any of the mounts) and a venomous bite that it can deliver to grappled opponents.
Decapod Mount: A form of arthropod from the Dromite homeworld (meaning that it has the Alien supertype), the Decapod Mount is fast and can climb walls and even move along ceilings at the same speed it moves on the ground. Special saddles are available for both Small and Medium riders, allowing them to stay mounted while the creature uses this unique ability.

Yes. Yes I was. But that doesn't mean I don't like old fashioned. I wanted the bird mount myself, but didn't want to double-up on mounts, and I totally fell for the marsupial mount. I was just teasin' you. But chocobos are better. ^_^

*matter of factly* Chocobos don't outsmart cayotes *nod nod*
Chocobos get caught with spikey haired freaks and used as beasts of burden. Roadrunner's are never caught. *nod nod*
Wait...then how did I get mine...*ponders*

Chocobos also grow to be really fat and can store items for you. Or fall and squash your enemies. How useful is that? ^_^
Well You're not a coyote, so maybe the birdie trusted you. I mean, only coyotes want to eat them.
