It is well-known that the Potter, standing atop the Mount of Creation, crafted the seas and land, the plains and mountains, the valleys and rivers, all using the Potter's Wheel - The Orb of Anthros. This great artifact is believed to be the only one of its kind by many, yet there is talk of other great Orbs, of equal power to the Potter's Wheel.
The Potter's Wheel is held by Kronin, the Dark Red Dragon, in his lair near the summit of the Mount of Creation. On occasion, the Eldest of Red enters into the world at large and grants the Orb to a mortal, to further some great and reaching plan of his.
The Potter's Wheel grants great powers of rejuvination and protection, rendering its wielder virtually immune to any form of harm. The key to using it for creation is likely held only by the Potter, though its use tends to lead to the building of things, the creation of nations and citiies where once there was chaos.
The people of the Dark Empire of Blin, and those who study the Shadow or the Taint, will learn of a second Orb. This one is referred to as the Orb of Blin, or Proteus's Hammer. This Orb is kept in the Citadel of Shadow, stronghold of Pandora, the Mistress of the Night. Unlike the Wheel, the Hammer is destructive, emitting beams of energy not unlike a shadowcaster's dark darts, but far more powerful, destroying whatever the wielder wishes.
There is rumor of a third, lost Orb... the Fallen Star. This Orb, it is said, maintains and protects, generating barriers to protect that which the wielder wants protected.
