I know I know. It seems odd that the Forum Ninja's first crunch post will be for Samurai influenced characters...but hey, at least its not pirates.
[glow=red,2,300]Iaijutsu Master [Finesse or Power][/glow]
You strike your opponent as you draw your blade, striking first and last with the same blow.
-Base Mastery: 1
Prerequisite: Single curved blade. To gain this feat’s benefits, you must be wielding a one or two-handed sword with a curved blade (scimitar, falchion, katana, etc.)
Benefit: You react to danger faster than most, bringing your blade to bear in a deadly blur. You gain +2 to initiative, and gain the benefit of the quick draw general feat with any curved sword you use.
-Expanded Mastery: 2. When you charge or quick-draw, you may sacrifice accuracy for number of attacks. You may, on a round in which you charge or quick draw your sword, make an additional attack at your highest base attack bonus. However, all attacks suffer a –2 penalty to attack roll.
-Expanded Mastery: 6. You may make up to a 90-degree turn while charging. You may also use tumble and jump checks in the course of a charge attack.
-Expanded Mastery: 9. You have honed your senses to the point where you are impossible to surprise. At the beginning of every combat you gain a surprise round in which you may charge and/or perform a quick-draw strike against an opponent. You gain this surprise round even if you would normally be surprised, rolling initiative for that round with the ambushers.
-Expanded Mastery: 10. You have mastered the art of iaijutsu, and may now make a flurry of deadly strikes as you bear down on your opponent. At the end of a charge, you may make a full attack action.
