There are four sorts of mythril on Anthros.
The most common variety is silver mythril. This follows the same rules as mythril in the DMG, including price.
The second is blue mythril. Blue mythril is light, yet forms exceptionally strong and sharp blades. It has another rather unique feature... as it is swung, its weight increases, balanced toward the end opposite the central point of the swing. These features make it so that blue mythril is an exceptional material for making weapons. Slashing weapons forged of blue mythril can always be used with the Weapon Finesse feat. Those which already could use Weapon Finesse are also considered one category smaller (so a two-handed weapon would be one-handed, and a one-handed weapon would be light). Note that, in order to use a weapon as a double weapon or reach weapon, it must be held in both hands. A weapon of blue mythril costs 300GP more than a mythril silver weapon of the same type.
The third type of mythril is the coveted red mythril. Red mythril isn't as light as blue mythril, having many of the same qualities as mythril silver. However, red mythril does take to enchantment very well. The greatest samurai of the Kirin clan wielded red mythril daisho, as these would bind the elemental spirits more effectively. Enchanting an item made of red mythril results is a 25% decrease in the raw material and XP cost of placing the enchantment. These weapons are generally no less expensive to buy with enchantments already placed on them, however, because the effects of the enchantment are the same. A nonmagical red mythril weapon can cost anywhere from 600 to 10,000 GP more than a standard weapon of its type due to the incredible rarity of the ore.
Then there is the dreaded grey mythril. Found only in the Empire of Blin and believed by many to be the same as blinstone, grey mythril is tainted by Shadow - indeed, all mythril deposits in Blin are composed of grey mythril. For a normal mortal - one who does not have an innate connection with Shadow - to wield a grey mythril weapon would be to doom himself to madness and death. Being hit with these weapons inflicts the taint on the person recieving the wound, as well. The Shadow-Lords often carry terrifying swords of grey mythril.
