The Elf races and background feats have recieved edits. Here is an incomplete list of changes:
1. Elf racial traits have been updated to be completely 3.5 compliant.
2. All Elves are now dual-typed creatures, being Fey/Humanoid (Elf).
3. Elves are immune to Enchantment and Telepathy effects that specifically target Humanoids.
4. All Elves have low-light vision.
Changes to Syldran:
1. Syldran now begin play with more weapon proficiencies.
Changes to Elian:
1. Elian now must retain a number of ranks in Perform equal to their character level or suffer a 10% experience penalty.
2. Elian can no longer cast Bard spells, as their culture does not allow them to use music and art as tools. They can still use bardic music.
Changes to Tu'ron'o:
1. Tu'ron'o now must retain a number of ranks in Diplomacy equal to their character level or suffer a 10% experience penalty.
2. Tu'ron'o can now use bludgeoning weapons. However, if they use one other than the Quarterstaff, they suffer a -2 penalty on attack rolls.
Changes to Drow:
1. Drow can now only target themselves with their Levitate spell-like ability.
Changes to Sylan:
1. Sylan have lost the ability to detect secret doors simply by passing near them.
Changes to LeShay:
1. LeShay now begin play with 1000 points of experience debt.
Changes to background feats:
Virtually every background feat has been revised. Foe Hunter: Fiends has now been replaced with Fiendhunter. Other than Cosmopolitan and Mind over Body, every background feat in the game has gained added effects.
Upcoming changes:
The remainder of the races in the Races of Anthros document will recieve review. The Special Racial Feats will recieve similar edits to the background feats.
What you should do:
Update your character sheet to take these changes into account. If a change renders a choice you have made suboptimal, talk to Nephallim, Horosha, or myself about changing that choice. The new versions of the feats and races can be found at the Anthros homepage at trailfootgames.com/anthros
